Founded by former physics teacher Stuart Margerison, Stockton Heath Dog Walker was created with one simple goal: to provide safe, reliable and professional dog care for local dog owners. After 19 years in education, Stuart brought the same patience, trust and responsibility into building one of the area’s leading dog walking services. He lives locally with his wife, Salma, and their three children: Ada, Lyla and Wilf.
Since launching in 2023, Stockton Heath Dog Walker has built a strong reputation across Stockton Heath and the surrounding villages for friendly, dependable and personalised care. Every dog is treated as an individual, with walks tailored to their age, temperament, energy levels and confidence.
Walks take place in a variety of beautiful local locations, including The Dingle, Moore Nature Reserve, Trans Pennine Trail, Grappenhall Heys, Pewterspear Green, Parrs Wood and the surrounding countryside, giving dogs plenty of variety, stimulation and exercise in safe outdoor environments.
Stockton Heath Dog Walker offers flexible services to suit busy owners, including regular weekly walks, daily walks and ad-hoc bookings. Regular clients can also access additional support such as weekend care, overnight stays and out-of-hours services.
Before any walks begin, every dog (and owner) is invited to a free meet and greet. This gives you and your dog the chance to meet Stuart properly, ask questions, and discuss your dog’s personality, routine and individual needs so they feel comfortable, happy and secure from day one.
